Taste of Heaven is elated to have these fine local food producers partner with us in providing key ingredients to our menu:
Stapleton Sausage Co.: Producing delicious, handmade sausages, the Stapleton family uses lean meat (not trimmings) raised mostly in the Fraser Valley, with natural casings, and quality ingredients. And an added bonus to the fantastic flavour, these sausages are much lower in fat than others on the market. Stapleton sausages are preservative and gluten free, and contain no MSG or nitrates!
Hardbite Potato Chips: BC’s only potato chip manufacturing plant, Hardbite is a family run business. The handcrafted-style chips with an unbeatable crunch are free from GMOs, trans fat, gluten and cholesterol. Made from local potatoes (and also root veggies like beet and carrot), the chips are dressed in aromatic, natural seasonings.
Phillips Soda Works: The Victoria-based Phillips Soda Works took their commitment to hand-brewing craft beer with real ingredients, and applied it to making soda. Their soda recipes are built from real spices and juices, sweetened with cane sugar, and overseen by real brewers in an actual brewery. These fantastic sodas are free of cheap corn syrups, artificial colours or flavours.
Taste of Heaven is a social enterprise from NightShift Street Ministries, a non-profit organization in Surrey that feeds love, hope, purpose and nightly meals to people who are stuck in some of life’s most difficult situations – poverty, addiction, mental illness, homelessness and loneliness. Every meal purchased at Taste of Heaven supports NightShift’s nightly outreach and daily continuing care services for these special friends.
